Features a unique magnetic charging cable with a USB-A connector, letting you plug into any standard 5V USB power source.

Charging EmbracePlus is quick and effortless.

Follow these simple steps to charge EmbracePlus:

1. Plug the cable’s USB-A end into a standard 5V USB 2.0 power source

2. The magnetic charging cable and EmbracePlus will automatically connect. Slide the EmbracePlus into the cable, ensuring the display and side buttons are visible. You will feel a slight pull as it snaps into place.

3. Once the charging starts, the display background will turn dark (indicating that data collection has stopped) and will show the current charge level. A full charge takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

4. The device is fully charged when the display shows ‘100’. Hold the charger and slide the EmbracePlus off the magnetic base to remove it.

What is the voltage of the charger?

The output is 5V DC at a maximum of 3 Amps.

How can I check the battery level of my EmbracePlus?

Once EmbracePlus is turned on and paired at least once, it will remain ON until the battery runs out. You can check the battery level of the EmbracePlus in multiple ways:

1. Short-press (less than 1 second) one of the side buttons on the device.

2. Open the EpiMonitor app on the paired smartphone. Tap on the top row of the list to reveal a status card.

3. Battery status notifications can also show on the paired smartphone running the EpiMonitor app. It is recommended that you enable these notifications.

How will I know when my EmbracePlus needs charging?

When the device has a low battery, a low battery icon will show beneath the time on the display. The EmbracePlus should be charged soon.

When a ‘Low’ message appears on the display, the EmbracePlus is about to turn OFF and should be placed on charge as soon as possible.

How long does it take to charge the EmbracePlus?

Full charge from empty takes about 1 hour and 30minutes and will last up to 7 days (dependant on usage)

How long does the EmbracePlus battery last?

EmbracePlus has a Lithium-ion battery and has an estimated life of 2 years, or up to ~500 charging cycles.

As all rechargeable batteries are consumable components, the battery life will gradually decrease over time as a result of use or even non-use, based on multiple factors.
